Summer Youth Servant Experiences (6th-12th)
* High School (HS) Summer Servant trip will be June 16-21, 2019 at Camp Lebanon, Burtrum MN, HS trip meeting DATE CHANGE: May 19, 12:30 - 2:30pm at VC campus. Parents arrive at 2pm and join the meeting. Contact Patrick Brewer with questions.
* Middle School (MS) Summer Servant Trip will be June 9-12, 2019 in Rochester MN. Your next meeting is April 28, 1-2pm at VC, Parents please attend. Contact Lindsey Schmidt with questions.
MIDDLE SCHOOL (6th-8th) SERVANT EVENT TO ROCHESTER MN - June 9-12, 2019
WHO: Current 6th-8th graders
WHEN: June 9-12, 2019
WHERE: Rochester, Minnesota
COST: $100 per student. Registration will close on February 15th. If you register and we are full, you'll be added to the waiting list and your deposit will be refunded if no room opens up.
WHAT: Serving community members in the name of Jesus doing home repairs, yardwork, helping with VBS & kids club, and other service projects. Working alongside other LCMS churches from Rochester and all over MN.
HOW: We’ll be taking large SUVs and minivans down. If you have a vehicle you’re willing to let us use, you’ll get a $50 credit towards your trip!!!
WHY: You should come on a Servant Event because it is a great way to grow, to discover what it looks/feels like to be fully focused on your relationship with Jesus and serving Him while you serve others. Servant events are a blast. We have opportunities to be more courageous, more selfless, and use our gifts to bless others. They’re also a great way to get to know more folks around here.
REGISTER: Registration starts 10/4/18. Register at
WLCYOUTH.ORG. We have 25 youth spaces and they’ll fill up quick! There is a $50 deposit that is due when you register. Registration will close on February 15, 2019. If you register and we are full, you'll be added to the waiting list and your deposit will be refunded if no room opens up. The full payment needs to be made by May 1, 2019. There are fundraisers: Easter Breakfast & the Garage Sale. As always, let us know if money is the reason you’re hesitating, we have resources to help!

HIGH SCHOOL (8th-12th) SERVANT EVENT TO CAMP LEBANON, BURTRUM MN - June 16-21, 2019
WHO: Current 8th-12th graders
WHEN: June 9-12, 2019
WHERE: Camp Lebanon, Burtrum Minnesota
COST: $175 per student
WHAT: A week serving and playing at Camp Lebanon, in Burtrum, MN! Our team will work on significant projects around camp each day, as well as doing fun camp activities, growing in Bible study, and worshiping together!
HOW: We’ll be taking 7 or 8 large SUVs and minivans down.
WHY: This trip will be a chance to step out of the normal flow of your life and focus on following Jesus and growing closer to him. It’s also a great chance to make new friends, go somewhere new, and have a blast with other believers!
REGISTER: Register at WLCYOUTH.ORG. We have 30 youth spaces so snag one before they’re gone! There is a $50 deposit that is due when you register. The full payment needs to be made by May 1, 2019 There are fundraisers: The Garage Sale, Doughnut Sales, and the Easter Breakfast.
