As Senior Pastor I am responsible for leading our staff and making sure that God's vision of Multiplying Disciples :: Transforming Lives comes to life across our campuses. I also get to preach a lot, which I love. I have been a Pastor at Woodbury Lutheran since October of 2008; for 4 years I served as Associate Pastor for Outreach and Missions and in November 2012 I moved into the Senior Pastor role.
I was born in St. Paul and grew up in Woodbury about 150 yards from Woodbury Lutheran. Growing up I spent lots of time at WLC as my dad was our founding pastor, let's just say I never in my wildest dreams thought I would ever be a pastor, much less a pastor at the church where I grew up! I am married to my beautiful and talented wife Stephanie, we have a daughter, Peyten, who was born on December 31st, 2012 and of course we love our big old Golden doodle, Pfinnegan. When I am not at church I enjoy hanging out with my girls, exercising, gardening, and watching the Vikings.
