Call to Faithfulness (OH)
In Leviticus, we have seen that the LORD has accomplished the task of being in the presence of His people. Recall how Leviticus opens up with the LORD calling Moses from the tent and Moses and the people are now able to commune with the LORD from within the tent. (We’ll see this in the beginning of the next book: “Numbers”.) The LORD was faithful to Israel, both in word (His promises) and in deed (His actions). God has been faithful to us, too. Because of God’s faithfulness to us in and through Christ, how then do we reciprocate or respond to His faithfulness? As the writer of Hebrews declares, we live our lives holding unswervingly to the hope we profess, knowing that He who promised is always faithful.
Spend 5 minutes pondering and writing down all of the ways that God has been faithful to you throughout your lifetime. Then respond to His faithfulness in your life.
