For Those Who Doubt (VC2)
Wouldn’t it be great to have faith and never doubt? Everyone wrestles with doubt at some point. We face circumstances that don’t add up. We see suffering and injustice in the world. Doubt grabs our minds and emotions. Over 2000 years ago an angel came to a man named Zechariah with a story that seemed doubtful. What happened next has the capacity to change what we think of doubt in light of the promise of Jesus.
Unifying Phrase: God is always on time.
- Doubt can lead us to ask, “Will God really come through?”
- You can doubt and follow Jesus at the same time.
- The promise of Jesus reminds us that we have a God who fulfills his promises at the proper time.
- What if we saw doubt as an opportunity to grow closer to God?
- God will use our testimonies of his faithfulness to lead people to him and encourage those who struggling in a time of doubt.
