None of His disciples imagined when they decided to follow Jesus that it would end like this.  They anticipated an earthly Kingdom but God had a much bigger plan that required that He give up His very Son’s life.  And through His perfect obedience Jesus became the source of eternal salvation.  It is only through giving up Life that there can be resurrection of life.
