Even though Jesus was perfect in every way He broke all kinds of social norms (speaking to women, children and tax collectors).  These actions could have messed up his reputation as a holy man. But Jesus brought His message of grace and forgiveness and that we should be more worried about the sin in our own life than feeling superior over others.  If we can let go of our status symbols and judgmental attitudes it will lead us to hearing Jesus more clearly and responding more faithfully.
