We’ve heard that only two things in life are certain: death and taxes. On Ash Wednesday we remember that we are simply dust and we will one day return to dust. But death can be scary. What happens next? Did we live life to the fullest? Were we actually good people? What about our past? What about our addictions—our sins with which we constantly struggle? Jesus shows us that it’s not about us or our past. It’s about him. He is the Way.
