Three words. Three words carry all the love of God. They carry the fulfillment of the law. They carry our salvation. Leaving the upper room and going to the cross, Jesus suffers—even though he doesn’t have to. He carries our sin. And with his final words, he lets us know that our losing battle with sin is over.
