Jethro encourages Moses to share his work among capable leaders in the community. The New Testament also encourages the whole Body of Christ to serve and share in the ministry of proclaiming the gospel and making disciples of all nations. Paul calls Timothy to entrust the teaching of this Good Gospel to faithful people who can teach and equip others to do the same. As disciples who are becoming more like Jesus and making disciples of all nations, we are called and led by the power of the Holy Spirit to raise up disciples who make disciples, in order that the Good News of Jesus would continue to be shared with all the families of the earth!
