Jesus is the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. He is the one who dies in the place of sinners from households from every nation (ta ethne) of the world who trust in Him. The Passover account in Exodus is a foreshadowing of what the LORD will do through His Son, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
