Strange Lives (OH)
In the midst of a culture where disciples do not hold “power” Peter calls on us to live lives that look very strange to the world around us; lives that are marked by self-control, obedience and holiness; lives fueled by the power of the Holy Spirit where we leave behind all malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy and slander; lives where our energy is focused on what we are for as we grow into the salvation we have received in Jesus.
Reflect on where your speech toward the culture needs to change.
Why do you think the church is often known more for what it is against?
