Have you ever noticed how hard it is to follow our own rules and how easy it is to make excuses for our failures.  In fact, in an attempt to help make ourselves feel better we have developed a new term that falls somewhere in between sinner and perfection, the term is mistake.  We need to rediscover the truth about sin, because as we discover the concept of sin we also discover that Jesus over and over and over again in His ministry redeems the worst of sinners.  Imagine what He can do for you… 

1. Jesus raised the behavioral standard so high that no one can pass. 
2. God is tenacious in His pursuit to restore His relationships with sinners.
3. Jesus never minimized the seriousness of sin, but He did not condemn sinners.
