Surprises can be fun, especially if it is a gift you weren’t expecting.  Even as the Israelites were expecting the Messiah, what they received was truly a surprise!  Rather than someone who had come to return Israel to its former glory, Jesus came bring salvation to the world.

During this busy holiday season, do something unexpected for someone else.
