Working and Resting (VCC)

In Genesis, after the LORD created all things very good, He rested . . . for a whole day. In Exodus, He calls His people to do the same. In our western context, Sabbath-ing can be difficult for many of us. Sabbath-ing requires trust in the LORD; He has provided plenty of promises for us to trust in His unfailing provision. Sabbath-ing is healthy for us and also honors the LORD and those that we are in relationships with.

Practice intentional Sabbath in your life in a new way this week. Read Exodus 35-36.
