The United States is a nation of laws. But laws don’t inspire greatness, excellence, or virtue. In fact, when we confuse what is legal with what is moral, everyone looks for a loophole to serve his or her own interests. How we respond to our freedoms as Christians matters. Sin's firm hold on the world keeps disciples from remaking the world in God’s image. Instead, the call of the disciple in the family of God is to serve and love those around them.
